I thought about using my old phones as trade ins against the price of the new ones but I was always offered a price which was very low and just not worth it. So this lead to me hanging on to the old phones. I checked last week and found that I had eight mobile phones lying around the house; seven that I will never use again. I felt that this was very wasteful but I came across an article about how it is possible to recycle mobile phones and I have to say I was very interested.

Instead of receiving a pitiful amount of money for my old mobile phones, I would definitely prefer to donate them. I feel happier in the knowledge that I am doing something to help other people and on top of that I dont feel like I have been cheated. Apparently these phones are sent to people in underprivileged parts of the world which seems like a great idea. My old have nothing wrong with them except for the fact that they are not as new or up to date as I would like; they still work perfectly fine. In fact there is in an old iPhone among the batch that I donated and Im sure that somebody will be delighted to have that.

When it comes to donating mobile phones it really isnt any hardship at all. If I had known about it I would have done it before now. I will also be sure to do this in the future. If my old phones arent going to be used by me then they might as well be used by somebody else.
