iPad Beater,
Upgrade the DDR3 memory to 2Gb and you have the equivalent of an iPad with a proper keyboard, touchpad and touch screen for about the same price. Swap the HDD for s SSD and you have a sweet 60Gb machine. What’s more you need no fancy stands to prop up the screen.

LENOVO IDEA PAD,
I wanted a touch screen pc – an I pad killer basically
The two main options are really HP TOUCH and Lenovo idea pad
After researching and getting a feel for the products in shops
I went for lenovos (IBM) idea pad
I did not like the bulge at the back base of the hp
Idea pad has a large battery but it is a nice shape and serves as a handle
the battery does seem to last a long time 8 hrs stated –
an overnight charge lasts me a few days but this is currently with only occasional use
love lenovos keyboard – and overall sturdy feel
screen swivel is sturdy but you have to be careful of the directions
Runs windows 7
These smaller netbooks are very popular these days
but it takes some getting used to a smaller screen
especially for the internet
they really come into their own for watching movies or u tube
the devise does not have a cd drive
so everything has to be via memory
Idea pad has a very impressive interface allowing
access to photos music images and e books
very ipad in feel and touch scroll
there is even a touch paint software
which the kids love
The touch screen works great
I have not been able to get an ordinary stylus to work with it
but have not tried any oficial lenovo stylus
one downside is that the automatic screen orientation
is a bit quirky with a bit of a delay – but you can set
it to a button press manual switch
Some have found the mousepad a little small
it works fine – and you do not need it so much as you can just touch the screen
Overall as a mobile devise allowing me access to my work on the go
a great product
No restrictions as with the ipad
More sturdy with a better keyboard than the hp touch
Check out the many u tube reviews out there
