Good, small light machine,
Lovely and small and light. On a few occasions I have forgotten that I had it in my bag.
The keyboard is really nice to type on (sadly though it misses a few important keys: home, end, page up, page down)
The battery life is around 5 hours with WiFi on and the screen on 1/2 to 3/4. I reached 7 and a bit hours with WiFi off and screen down low – doing real work as well.
Sadly doesn’t come with Bluetooth.
The SD card slot can read SD-HC cards (ones over 4GB).
The external monitor can be massive before the computer has any issues. It worked fine on a 1600*1200 TV.
The external monitor cannot be used as well as the internal display. The only options are internal only, external only, and mirrored. Extended screen is not possible.
This runs windows 7 Starter. If you are not aware this has a few missing features.
Keyboard: There are no home, end, page up, or page down keys. These are also not accessible through any fn+key combo.
I used AutoHotKey to add them.
Also of note is the fact that the fn keys at the top default to media keys (i.e. fn+f5 does f5, while f5 on its own does previous track). This is changeable in the BIOS. I mention it because HP doesn’t in its documentation.
All in all its a lovely small machine.

Great value,
I wanted a Netbook that was light and easy to use and this fitted the bill perfectly. As well as being great value, the build quality is excellent and the Windows 7 starter is all you need for a lightweight mobile machine. Recommended!
