Buy A Phone Recorder To Protect Yourself From Intimidators
I installed a phone recorder at home latterly. I did it as a result of my kids being stressed on the highschool bus by a bully. I planned to call the boys parents and have a chat as to ways to stop his behavior and I wanted record the telephone calls in case it turned into something upsetting.
I proceeded with the phone recorder capturing the dialoge and spoke with the boys mummy who simply made excuses for the boy. Later in the night the teens pa called our place and made accusations and even promised to call the cops if we stressed his folks.
I know that I had a particularly civil conversation with the mother even though she did come up with excuses and didn’t hold her son accountable for his negative behavior. I did not wish to call back and speak to the daddy but I knew if I would let his accusations slide without correction that he would think he was right. I waited and called back the next day.
I’m glad that I had my phone call recorder in place when I called. As he got on the line I explained that I had not stressed his folks but had an excellent conversation with his better half the day before about their sons behaviour toward my kids. He listened noiselessly as I explained that his sons behaviour wasn’t endured and that even the bus driver had spoken to me and told me some of what had occurred. I also told him that I was aware that the boy had been postponed from riding the bus for a week and therefore the bus driver wouldn’t have done this without cause.
After I explained this last part he became very upset but not in the way I expected. I believed he would be obnoxious as he had been on the previous call but he broke down and told me that they didnt know what they were intending to do about their son.
I did record the phone call in case the elders became aggressive and they didnt but I am happy that I have got a recording anyway because if the issue pops up again I have proof that they know their kid is a trouble maker. Thanks to my phone recorder I also have proof that i have always been kind and civil in talks with their family.
